The Getting Spot is one person: Virgie Moran, working out of O'Brien, Oregon.

There's no warehouse, no team, no call center. There's a workbench, a wood-burning tip, and a running list of ideas that seem too weird not to make.

Two kinds of "one of one"

Half of what's here is original, hand-burned art — pyrography, drawing with fire instead of ink. No undo, no repaint, no second edition. The 50 Animals Table took First Place and Best of Show at the 2024 Del Norte County Fair, and like everything in the Local Art Spot, it exists exactly once. When a piece sells, that piece is gone — not restocked, not reprinted, not recreated.

The other half is merch and streetwear — the Big G logo, the "Gettin it!" line, jewelry, everyday pieces picked and printed because they're genuinely good, not because they're the cheapest thing to drop-ship. Different production process, same standard: does this actually deserve a spot in the shop.

Why "Bold. Loud. One of One."

It's literal on the art side — burned once, sold once, never reissued. On the merch side, it's a filter: no generic filler just to pad the catalog. If it wouldn't hold up next to a hand-burned table, it doesn't go up.
